SBI Foundation Asha Scholarship 2026-27 (Platinum Jubilee)
The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship is one of India's largest scholarship
initiatives, run by SBI Foundation - the CSR arm of the State Bank of India. It
empowers meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds, from Class 9
all the way to overseas study, with awards from Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,00,000 per year.
Applying is free, fully online, and funds are sent by direct bank transfer.
Scholarship tracks
- School Students (Class 9-12): up to Rs.15,000 per year.
- Undergraduate (Top 300 NIRF): up to Rs.75,000 per year.
- Postgraduate: up to Rs.2,50,000 per year.
- Medical (MBBS): up to Rs.4,50,000 per year.
- IIT Students: up to Rs.2,00,000 per year.
- IIM Students: up to Rs.5,00,000 per year.
- Overseas Studies (SC/ST): up to Rs.20,00,000 per year.
Core eligibility
- Indian student from an economically weaker background.
- Family income within the limit for your track (Rs.3 lakh for school, Rs.6 lakh for higher education).
- Minimum 75% marks / 7.0 CGPA (10% relaxation for SC/ST applicants).
- Enrolled in an eligible institution for your category.
